Why don't social-media posts appear in the feed?

Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and other social platforms are blocked as sources. The goal is a feed worth drafting off — reported pieces, essays, research, product announcements, news — not a second algorithmic timeline.

A writer's best material comes from responding to the substance of what's happening in their field. Social feeds compete for that attention without supplying it.
